Evil Is The New Good

Vader fans rejoice! Your Sith fantasy is about to be realized. SWTOR writer Neil Pollner sheds some light on the newly revealed "Sith Warrior" playable class in his blog.



As a Sith Warrior, you'll be able to get your hands on a shiny new red lightsaber, and a host of evil powers to go along with it. Everyone has to start somewhere, and it looks like players who listen to the call of the dark side will start out as a Sith apprentice. Over the course of the game, players will be able to follow many different paths to infamy, eliminating rivals, acquiring enemies, and gathering minions along the way. Alternatively, one could plot to redeem themselves by embracing the light and betraying the dark side. Eventually players will be able to usurp their master's throne, a timeless ritual that all Sith lords partake in.

There still isn't a whole lot of information out there about The Old Republic, but fans of the dark side can rest assured; they'll be able to delve into their emotions and conquer the galaxy in the name of the Empire as a powerful Sith Warrior once the game releases.
